Rozlyn Sheridan – Director
Rozlyn Sheridan, Director of the Sheridan Stage School,
gained her teaching qualifications in Speech, Communication
and Drama through The New Era Academy, London, The London
College of Music and Drama.
She has directed numerous Youth Theatre productions
in both the North and South of Ireland. As a red-coat
entertainer in Ayrshire, she then turned throughout
Scotland with various stage plays and worked as a reporter
for BBC Choice – Sky Digital.
Rozlyn directs productions for various schools and drama
groups throughout Ireland. She has just finished directing
a production for Newtownhamilton and Bessbrook primary
schools which was performed for Education minister Christina
Ruanne. She is currently directing Dundalk's town Pantomime
"Jack and The Beanstalk" as well as "Disney
High School Musical" with a secondary school in
Castleblaney. Rozlyn has also just qualified as a Yoga
teacher.
Rozlyn is a member of the Society of Teachers of Speech
& Drama and Equity. She also works as an examiner
for the New Era Academy, London

Kathy Colgan – Singing/Drama
Tutor
Kathy Colgan is now entering her fifth year working
with the Sheridan Stage School. She has integrated her
knowledge of Musical Theatre to the school – focusing
mainly on song, dance and songwriting.
To date, Kathy has worked professionally in the Lyric
Theatre, Belfast for 3 years – working with professional
voice coaches, directors and choreographers. She was
selected with her friend, Emma Lennon, to record their
own composition with George Martain in Air Studios,
London and later to perform it in the Millennium Dome.
On the strength of this they were asked back the following
year to record an album for Remembrance Day. She had
the privilege then to sing in the Waterfront Hall along
with the Legendary Tenor, Pavorotti. Other achievements
include Recording for the BBC programme “A Christmas
Carol”

Teresa McBride - Drama/Movement
Tutor
Teresa McBride received her Btec National Diploma in
Performing Arts from Newry Institute. She went on to
Belfast Institute of Further & Higher Education
where she received her Higher National Diploma in Performing
Arts and attended Northbrook College Brighton to complete
her BA Hon’s Degree in Theatre Arts.
She works in primary and secondary schools both north
and south of the border producing shows as well as working
in outreach centres. Her most recent shows include the
direction and choreography of ‘Guys & Dolls’
Castleblayney Boys School, and also ‘King of the
Jungle’ Newtownhamilton Primary School.
While studying at college, Teresa gained many skills
which she likes to incorporate into productions and
workshops. These include: fire swinging, circus skills,
dance, face painting and kodo drumming. She got the
opportunity to demonstrate these skills in many different
festivals throughout the country.
Teresa is currently a part time lecturer of Performing
Arts in Newry Institute.
